God has burdened our church with a vision. WSCCC’s church planting vision dated back to 1999. It was then a vision supported by all three language congregations and promoted by the diaconate as well as all congregational ministers.
Church planting has its basis on the fulfilment of the Great Commission in Mathew 28:19. In Acts, we see how the boundaries of the Christian faith pushed to the uttermost parts of the world through the multiplication of new churches.

In 2009, the Future Directions Task Force was elected at CP9 to review the continual feasibility of the church plant project. The project was again re-endorsed by the diaconate.
In February 2010, the CP9 Management Committee was elected. This committee is now responsible for all services and administration at CP9.
Our vision is ”To follow Christ, preach the gospel, saving many”. Our mission is “To stand firm in Christ, grow in Christ, building up the body of Christ”.
We will continue to consolidate CP9 as church plant. The goal is not so much to build a church structure for comfortable worship but rather using the new church as an evangelical vehicle, to move out of our comfort zones and ‘conquer the land’.
We invite all of WSCCC to join us in this ministry. We especially need your prayer support.
With the help of God, we can certainly do it. May all honour and glory belong to Jesus Christ, our Lord.
